First beauty pie order….

Need some tips and advice on what to get, I’m not the best with beauty products but want to give it a go and treat my skin better….

A friend got me a few products to try and now I am hooked and looking to become a member ( the £29 per year option) this allows me to order 4 times a year which is plenty for me. I can’t use their moisturisers as my skin is quite oily and the cream my friend got me made me break out. I’ll stick to my own. I also love my Emma Hardie cleansing balm, the moringa one so sticking with that as I have two big tubs. I would like to try a serum if anyone can recommend - also anything else for under my eyes and also my neck.

I’m mid 40’s medium fair skin tone but prone to breakouts. Wear Estée Lauder desert beige double wear foundation which I’m happy to stick with.
I am pretty clueless what I should put under my foundation, it’s usually just oil free moisturiser and Laura mercer loose powder on top and a bit of blusher.

I am open to trying some new things for my upcoming holiday . Would like a highlight of some sort. Luminising highlighter looks like an option for me. I am also looking that their shadow sticks as I like those from LM. They look very similar and so much cheaper! I’ve been reading that I need a BP mascara too.

I would appreciate some advice on what I should get for my upcoming trip and just to change my face care routine.

thank you ☺️

I've had beauty pie membership since lockdown. Here are my repeat purchases:

Superdose Vitamin C serum

Luminizing highlighter wand

Cream blush

Tubing mascara

Powder bronzer

Their makeup brushes are great

Footopia foot cream - great for keeping feet looking better in summer footwear

Brazilian lime, fig leaves and tea perfume - a lovely summery scent.

Shine up luxe coloured lip balm - more of a lipstick than a balm, but not so heavy as a lipstick

Super luminous under Eye genius

The eyeshadow sticks are good, similar to the bobbi brown ones I believe.

Happy shopping!

I rate the japan fusion cleansing face wash

TryingAgain2026 · 26/02/2026 20:59

Thanks so much @Fuckitydoodah Which shade of the luminising wand would you recommend?
the eye genius is a good idea for me so will add that too.

Is the serum not greasy?

Footopia is on my list already as that was one of the gifts and I really liked it

@Oldgalgames I did get the Japan fusion face wash and agree it’s lovely but I have a good cleanser at moment and a lot left so need to use it up first

I actually switched to their balm cleanser after using Emma Hardie for years.

I like the Unlipstick, and their eyeshadow sticks.

The Uber youth eye cream and the Peptide Moisturiser.

Thanks @ChardonnaysBeastlyCat good to know BP balm cleanser is good too

I was a member for a while. Lots of OK things but the only thing I still use and bought on repeat is the tubing mascara.
