Clothes that you miss due to them no longer fitting due to weight loss?

It wasn’t the best quality and had already had a hole in before I lost weight but a Monki jumper with a cat face on.

I have three beautiful coats that drown me now. Still wear them because new coats are £££ - so I guess I miss the fit more than the garments. Also bought a couple of things in summer sales that I will have to sell on on Vinted.

Dd would love that Monki jumper but she's slimmer than me 😂

Ive only gone from a size 10 to 8, but I bought several pairs of PERFECT Levi jeans in the States and they no longer fit. And a Sezanne dress, which I adore, but it's now enormous on the waist. Worst of all, I bought a MaxMarra coat for £600 (the most expensive clothing item I've ever owned) and I now look like a child in it.

I took 6 pairs of tailored trousers to a seamstress locally, and she took them all in on the waist for £15 per pair, so I can definitely recommend that.

I’ve gone from a size 18 to a size 8 and I hunted down a lot of my favourites on Vinted in smaller sizes. Once I had them though I found I rarely wore them and sold them on again, my shape and what suits me has changed so much.

yes, several pairs of Levis I bought when I thought I was pretty much done with weight loss, so surely a couple of kilos won't make a difference. After all, when bigger, you can lose quite a lot and see no change in size.
As it turns out, when slim, a couple of kilos lost means a size down in jeans. Paper towel effect.

And also like PP, I bought several of my favourite items in smaller sizes from Vinted - but they don't suit me any more.

Can you get the coat altered? It might be a little expensive but worth it for a beautiful coat.

I dont know, I doubt it to be honest. It has a very generous cut to it and is supposed to look oversized anyway, so perhaps I can still make it work next winter!
