Super soft linen trousers?

I used to have a pair of M&S linen trousers, they were really soft with a flat band and drawstring.

For the last few years all I can find is scratchy ones with no flat band just a drawstring that doesn’t make the trousers sit well at all it’s like pulling the top of a bag tight, all bunched up.

Has anyone found a pair that are soft and flattering?

These by Anthropologie are soft and swishy, although pricey. I love mine. The cropped length works out to normal length on me at 5ft 3. The waist sizing is odd, though - I had to size down compared to my actual size.

I got some in Marks last year which are nice, though I agree that theirs are usually horribly scratchy. They were more expensive than the cheap scratchy ones - about £40 iirc. Might be worth going and trying a few when they get their summer stock in?

I think mine are drawstring but I sized down and they fit nicely.

Too early in the season but Brora has lovely linen trousers every year. I'm not fond of their other stuff but do like their linen and cord trousers.

Thank you, Anthropology linen/cotton blend look nice, love the Brora ones but £215? Absolutely not. Wish they’d bring back proper flat waistbands instead of the cheap drawstring bag effect you get, I thought this year it might have gone out of fashion.
