Boohoo returns, appalling.

So this morning I had to return some items from Tu clothing, Roman and Boohoo.
The first 2 were for smaller sizes because I must have lost weight again.
Those returns were dead easy and took no more than 5 minutes.
Then I tried to return the Boohoo items because they were giant shapeless sacks marked size 10 but would easily have fitted an 18.
I was messed around by the site and customer services for two hours and still the problem has not been resolved.
Its a simple straightforward return.
Ive been told to email some other people to resolve it, take screenshots and generally turn caetwheels and sacrifice my first born child. Still not resolved.
Im going to have to put in a complaint to trading standards which is seriously wasting my time for a simple £30 return.
The fact is they hope you will just give up.
This is a company I will never buy from again. They do not value your custom or your sanity or your time.
Dont buy from them.

I'd never buy from them anyway but they have a reputation for it.

They have an appalling reputation these days. Them and their sister company, Debehnams. People are waiting months for money back and they're often automatically refunding people with credit notes despite them not selecting that option - and having proof that they didn't

The website 'Resolver' has been very helpful to many in helping them deal with the Boohoo complaints.

I deleted the app; I will never order from them again. They are out and out fraudsters.

I had a very similar experience. They seem to have a million different suppliers that you have to deal with separately for returns even within the same order. It’s nuts.
One thing I did find more helpful when I needed to order from boohoo (CAVEAT: only if this is suitable for your personal financial circumstances- I’d never advocate a way of potentially ending in debt if it doesn’t suit your circumstances!) was using Klarna spread the cost to pay because you only front up the first payment, so it buys you a bit more time for the returns to go through and not leave you too much out of pocket. You can also report a return through Klarna and send evidence of your return, and they also then follow up with the company.
But yes, on the whole, boohoo are shocking.

Yes had an awful experience as well at Christmas. Was missing the trousers from a set I’d ordered and they basically said they’d be checking CCTV making out I was a liar as it had been delivered.

I never said it hadn’t been delivered just that some issue had gone wrong in tbe packing process and that’s where the CCTV issue was brought up that they’d be checking it sending loads of info about fraudulent claims.
it was only a £20 set I just wanted the trousers to match or a refund.

Was so heavy handed and took a month to get the refund. So awful compared to any other companies I’ve ever had issues with.

I had an experience with Boohoo - I kept the item but I was charged for extra 'insurance' which I didnt sign up for and it didn't state how much it cost on the order. I only foynd out as there was a discrepancy between the item cost and the final amount I owed, I thought they had just made a mistake but it was this insurance! I will never order from them again either!
