Gradual tan application advice

Can someone advise please? I want to use the dove gradual tan on my arms this year as I did legs last year and worked well (after all past attempts ended in disaster).

However, with arms and décolletage, where do you stop? Do you do neck too? All the way up to chin? And then doesn’t the face look weird?

What do other people do?

Thanks for posting this as I need the same advice!

I get a separate facial tanner and use this on my face and neck.
Then use the gradual tanner elsewhere.
It took a bit of practice, but your face and neck are never tanned to the same shade as the rest of you anyway.
I don’t put gradual tanner meant mostly for your body on the face. Not snobby about it, it just feels a bit too heavy? If anyone else does and it has good results, that’s brilliant.

Thanks @ThisJadeBear I guess that makes sense. I’m going to start now so if it all goes wrong, I’ll have time to rectify it before I actually have to get my arms out!

@Sweetiedarling7I’ll let you know how I get on.

When I've used the Dove gradual tanner I've just used it on my face too. I've never had any problems.

How often do you tanning pros wash the gradual stuff off again? Like, do you have to exfolite and start again at any point? Or not?

@NotMyNose It just fades over a few days if you stop reapplying, no need to exfoliate it off.
