What size labret?

I had a second lobe piercing about 8 weeks ago and I’m looking to change the stud… I’ve found lots of websites selling labrets with flat backs but they offer different length stems. I really don’t want anything that sticks out like rhe current piercing but don’t know the right or standard lobe depth. I’m going to get one of those tools for screwing the front on.

6mm length and 1.2mm diameter is the standard size but it does depend how thick your earlobes are!

Hey!

The stud you were pierced with will be slightly longer to allow for the swelling so once your piercing is healed you can downsize to a smaller bar which won't stick out.

I'd recommend sticking with the same gauge which is usually 16 gauge for piercings done with a needle. The bar length does depend on individual anatomy so it's not guaranteed, but the most common length for a healed second lobe piercing is around 8mm for thicker skin or 6mm for thinner skin.

If you're looking for Titanium flat-back labrets check out Crystal Heaven London.

Anything between 6 and 8mm length depending how thick the lobe is. I was pierced with a 1.2mm thick labret with 7mm length for my 2nd and 3rd lobes
