Has anyone tried this? I got this after seeing loads of good reviews and videos on Facebook and instagram. I am usually rubbish at styling my hair but the curls this makes are amazing! The only issue is my curls drop after a couple of hours. Does anyone have any styling tips for this tool in particular or in general using curling tools to make the curls last?

I’m sure I’ve read a thread about them a few months ago. I think the jist was that people were ordering them and not getting them.

Mousse in your hair before drying, hairspray after curling. Leave it as long as you possibly can before combing through the curls.

And I agree it is brilliant. I've literally never been able to curl my hair before!

I use mine quite a bit. Because I'm a bit cack-handed, I do find the back difficult to do (to remember where the controls should face, which direction to release the curl, etc etc) so usually have to go over that bit twice. I've learned that what works for me is not curling the under layer (Shirley Temple!) and to be precise around the face. Good luck!

Always sceptical of these kinds of things, but I risked it and bought one. It’s absolutely brilliant and does exactly what it says.

I started a thread about this a few months ago as I was debating getting one. I did (ordered via Amazon so it came very quickly) and it’s great - does exactly what it says on the tin, and the curls are easily as good as anything I’ve had done by a hairdresser.

Edited - sorry, I see you’ve already bought one! I use hairspray after curling which helps them to last. And I don’t comb them out, just let them naturally ‘drop’ a bit from the initial tight ringlets.

I keep seeing this as advertised. I still really miss the Braun Independent, everything seems to be hot air and I want a thick barreled hot brush.

Yea if anyone is thinking about buying one I would totally recommend! I think maybe I am using it on freshly washed hair which isn’t helping so im going to do it when my hair is a couple days old and see how it goes. Also a heat protecting/setting spray. But honestly I am the worst at doing my hair and it looks amazing when I use this tool! If I can do it anyone can lol
