Foundation recommendations for older skin

Can I please have your recommendations for lightish foundations that don’t sit on your skin and look cakey? I’m in my 40s, I’ve just hit peri menopause and my skin has changed so much. I’ve found a great skincare routine with Skin + Me products but I can’t find a foundation which works for me. All the ones I’ve tried recently sit in my crows feet and fine lines and make them look worse and sort of sit on top of my skin rather than absorb into it. I keep seeing Il Mikiage adverts on my feed - is it as great as the reviews say? Any other recommendations? I want a bit of cover to even out my skin tone but nothing too heavy. I don’t wear much make up.

I'm struggling with this too.
Nars and Laura Mercier tinted moisturisers look cakey on me.
Eborian looks great but makes me break out in spots every time I use it.
Jones Road was so greasy I hated it.
No 7 SPF medium foundation is the best I've got so far but it still looks cakey on my dry cheeks.
I'm more often than not just moisturising and embracing looking old and tired! 😅

Typology is the one I use most, it's a tinted serum and doesn't cake.
