Olaplex Bonding Oil - What am I missing?

Im on a hair regrowth journey from a bleach incident a couple of years ago and my hair is doing really well (wish the top and sides would grow as much as the bottom layer but I digress)
I've been using mostly Kerastase in that time including the Elixir Ultime hair oil, then moved to the L'Oréal Miracle Elixir oil after hearing it was a dupe. For me, it 100% is, its excellent. Anyway, got the chance to get a mini of the Olaplex bonding oil and was excited to try it, as obviously heard plenty of good things about Olaplex.
It... doesnt do anything? Im wondering if im not using enough, as its hard to get out of the packaging and then messy as its runnier than im used to, but then when its actually on my hair it makes it feel a bit dry. I always use mine on dry hair, at the end of my routine, to smooth away the frizz (although I bought a boar bristle brush recently and have been fairly shocked at how much thay has helped too)
Suggestions welcome! I have just reverted back to my existing bottle of L'Oréal oil for now, but I still want to use up the Olaplex if I can, its a handy travel size. Do I try it on wet hair?

I use mine on wet hair before I blow dry it. Seems to work ok.

I'll give that a go @diddlrydeedoo - can I ask how much you are using?
