Free People sizing

Hello!

I've found a Free People bomber jacket on Vinted that I've fallen in love with but I've never bought anything from Free People so unsure about sizing. The jacket in a slouch fit in a large and I'm a 14/16. The online size guide says Large tops are a 16 to 18 so with it being slouchy am I better to hold out for a medium? Thank you 😊

I think it varies between the different brands sold by FP.
I am a size 10/12, and have bought medium tops which are really a bit too big and other mediums are a bit too small!
They are expensive to send for different sizes for choice.
On Vinted, you could just take a chance, and resell if not suitable.

I have a FP brand (their own brand) cardigan which is a generous M - I’m a 10/22 and probably could have got S if I wanted a more fitted look.
