Hush jeans sizing help!

Hi!

Would anyone have some insight into Hush jeans sizing please? I am looking at the Bryce barrel jeans as I really like the shape. They are 99% cotton and 1% elastane so should have some give but I'm guessing not loads.

I am a fairly reliable size 14 and hate having any tightness across my waist since having a c section almost 2 years ago. I carry most of my weight on my midsection and am softly curvy overall. I am 5ft6 with fairly long slim legs. Do I size up to the 16 to be safe here?

Thanks! Oh and if anyone can share a discount code that would also be much appreciated! :)

They're generally on the bigger side, similar to M&S sizing. You might still need a 14 if you carry your weight around your middle but I wouldn't be surprised if a 12 fits you. I wouldn't think you'll need to size up.

Have you looked to see if they're in stock with John Lewis or Next? You could get free shipping and returns to try them risk free that way.

No discount codes I'm afraid, I can't remember the last time I saw a Hush discount code! They used to do fairly regular 10% off events, rotating round different categories over a month or so, but I haven't seem that for some time now either. Your best option is probably going through a cashback site.

I’ve always found Hush clothes come up big. By way of example I’ve got a pair of the Hush barrel leg super soft jeans with an elasticated waist (bought from John Lewis so was able to try on before buying in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. The 12’s which is my normal go to size were massive and the 10’s were too big too.
Every other pair of trousers/jeans I own from places like M&S range in size from a 10 to a 14 The only other Hush bottoms in my wardrobe are the old Amie joggers and they too are either 8s or 10s.

Thanks both! Annoyingly the 14 is on pre-order with an April delivery date so I had to go for the 16... praying it doesn't swamp me..! I did see one review saying the waist is more snug than expected so it might not be a terrible thing.

Update: the 16s arrived this morning and I love the fit! Bit of space round the waist but so comfy. The 14 would have worked I reckon but would be more snug which wasn’t what I wanted.
