Basic t shirts to layer?

Hi, where are people buying their basics from? I can afford around the H&M/New Look mark but I just need stuff to layer with if you know what I mean! BTW this is a new look for me but im trying to dress differently

H&M is decent for basic plain t shirts. Depending on your size, look at the kids/teen section too.
Primark also does good cotton t shirts in loads of colours and usually a variety of necklines. Their men’s t shirts are good if you want them a bit oversized.
