Help! Shoes for EEE feet!

I’ve always used Evans or Shoe Tailor but neither fit anymore - they must have changed their manufacturers 🤯.

Anyone know anywhere else for wide feet? I’m in my 50s so don’t want to look too grannyish 😬

Next and New Look do wide and extra wide. Just Google wide fit shoes and see which high street stores come up.

Pavers, Yours, Cotton traders

I have size 9eee feet so feel your pain, my usual go to is Yours or Evans, but I just had to return a pair from Yours as I could barely squeeze my feet in them!

I just bought 2 pairs of ballet pumps from Simply Be that fit perfectly, and one of them was real leather! Apparently it's really hard for shoe makers to make shoes in extra wide that are actually real leather 🤯

I also just tried a pair of Next comfort fit shoes in an 8, not expecting them to fit but hoping to gage whether the width would be ok if I sized up. And they actually fit, so could be worth trying there? They do sell actual EEE fit shoes as well, I don't believe the ones I tried were.

Edit: sorry just saw your update about Next not fitting!

They’re not wide enough unfortunately 🙁

Thank you - I’m so relieved it’s not just me 🤯. I’ve lost 3 stone in the last year too so it makes no sense!

I’ll try Simply Be 😊

DB shoes do wide fit - their EEE fit is called 6V I think.

Lots of hideous styles but some normal and even good ones.

I wear orthotics and so need very wide shoes - this brand is the only one wide enough

Wonkywalker · 16/02/2026 18:25

Also, unlike Hotter, DB Shoes are quick with returns and refunds. They sell leather shoes as well as the plastic option.

Hotter don't fit me so I was pretty desperate as I am a size 4 but wearing a size 7 until I found the brand

Thank you @Wonkywalker!

Have you looked at barefoot type shoes? They are generally wider ‘foot shaped’ ie not tapered or narrow like a lot of makes. Problem is finding them in shops to try as most are online. Hobibear are a particular wide fit. They are too wide for my troll feet but I much prefer barefoot types generally

MoiraPlunkett · 16/02/2026 19:24

Have you tried Clark's EE or is that too narrow? I often find they have EEs cheap in their Outlet shops.
