Rhinoplasty with pic

I am of Mediterranean origin, so had a hump anyway but also broke my nose 20 years ago.
I’ve always hated it, but just got on with life & had better things to spend my money on. Im at the point now where I can afford it & do have sinus issues that wouldn’t even be looked at by the nhs.
Would I be mad to do it now? It would be in the UK with a reputable ENT/plastic surgeon.
Pic to show the size. I would also like to hear positive & negative stories of those that have had rhinoplasty in the uk.

If it bothers you then do your research and have it done.

Why are you not sure? What worries you?

My friend had great success with fillers to straighten her nose, cheaper and less drastic but not permanent obviously.

Your nose looks completely normal to me, but I'm not you.

Three girls in my school had rhinoplasty in the last year. It's a horrible, horrible operation, and tbh in only one did she actually look better afterwards...but she still decided it wasn't quite right and went on to have another one to correct it further.

SliceofTosst · 14/02/2026 23:45

Fillers give amazing results. Have you looked into this?

Merseymum1980 · 14/02/2026 23:48

Go for it. Im of jewish origin and have always hated my nose plus i have a deviated septum. Would love to afford this

FrozenFebruary · 14/02/2026 23:48

If it's bothering you health wise (sinus) then I'd definitely look into it.

aesthetically definitely not. It's a cute nose, nothing aesthetically wrong with it'

@Getoutgal , when I first met my lovely DIL she had just had her nose done. She is also of Mediterranean origin as is my son (her husband). Her nose also had a pronounced bump. She figured that she’d get best value from the operation by having it done as young as possible which makes sense. Her new nose is the only one I’ve known although I’ve seen photos of her original nose. Her new nose is very much the same as it always was but without the bump she hated and it looks really great on her face. My son and I would have loved her regardless but I’m happy for her that she’s content.

Its upto you, i think you should get outside opinions before you make life altering choices though. Ask family and friends first.

minnowonthesay · 15/02/2026 07:01

Have a look at meystylist on Instagram, her nose job is excellent, she had it done before she got married about 3 years ago and has a tab dedicated to it. She’s of Turkish descent and had it done in Turkey.

Sweetiedarling7 · 15/02/2026 07:18

I think your nose looks nice and completely average so would say don’t waste your money but your choice of course.
The only noses I ever look at unfavourably are those weird ones that so many American women seem to have had done which look too small for their face and like they all went to the same shop.

Smugbadger · 15/02/2026 07:32

Had a rhinoplasty at 32 (ten years ago) - after agonising for years. Best decision I’ve ever made - so much happier with my face which look like how I imagine it would have done if my nose hadn’t been broken.

be very very careful about fillers in the nose. I wouldn’t advise it.

Thedevilhasfinallycaughtupwithhim · 15/02/2026 07:50

You have a really beautiful nose.

Getoutgal · 15/02/2026 11:29

I’ve read through previous threads & someone recommended a clinic for nose filler. I’ve had a look & whilst results are good, they are on small noses with obvious bumps or asymmetry. Cost is £540 for 1ml. Safe to say, I won’t be having filler. From the front the tip of my nose is bulbous & my nostrils are big, I can fit my thumb in 🤣. I want a conservative improvement, so will go for the consultation & decide from there, any mention of my case being complex I wouldn’t proceed.

Do you have children or plan to?

mypinkdog · 15/02/2026 11:36

Ask on the Reddit nose forum but you need to give better pics.
