Waterproof but not a very light rain jacket!

My dd age 13 needs a raincoat. Not as light as a pac a mac but not heavy either, she needs it for walking around on a city break and I can only find really light or heavy jackets.
Any ideas please?

Zara do classic looking raincoats for teens, usually in a nice solid colour like olive or plaster pink… Look like Rains jackets but are lined, for kids, and cheaper.
If she’s happy wearing a more sporty/outdoorsy style I’d just get one from Regatta, they seem to always have several options.
