Straighteners

I’m looking to buy some new hair straighteners as my current Cloud 9 pair are becoming unreliable. I have mid length, thick hair which is prone to frizz.

Theres so much choice out there, all proclaiming to be miracle products! I’d be grateful for any recommendations to help me decide.
Thanks

I have a pair of cloud 9s but I rarely use them as I bought a pair of Remington wide plate ones which are great. So much cheaper too.

Friend bought a really cheap Remington recently and it looks like it really worked- hair normally quite frizzy and she said her last ghd hadn’t lasted the course

I have a pair if babyliss, a fraction of the priceand working really well (also titanium coated and a choice of temperature and a rotating cable)

I straighten every day and use the Remington keratin protect ones. All by this brand are great

I’ve only owned 2 pairs of GHDs over probably the last 20 years so I wouldn’t buy anything else.

I always get GHD's. When my last pair started getting old (14 years) and I was worried they would just die on me one day, I bought the Remington ones recommended here. I don't like them and they are nowhere near as good as GHD's. I do have very curly hair though.
