Wasn’t really sure where to put this, but I figured people in here will know.

I need to change all my piercings for surgery, can anyone recommend the best ones to buy, when I search the only ones that come up are super cheap on Amazon, will they do the job? Or can anyone recommend anything better? Not looking forward to trying to change my tragus!

I just took them out and put them in again afterwards.

You could try a curved insertion tool to help with getting a new earring into your tragus

You can use Gorilla glass retainers, although implant grade titanium (which is what quality body jewellery is usually made of if it isn't gold) should also be fine if the surgeon agrees. If you can, check directly, because I totally stressed out about this once, spent loads on retainers, then it turned out the surgeon was fine with me keeping the jewellery I already had.

I believe it's only MRI scans where you actually can't have anything metal.

Thank you, I think I’ll phone preop tomorrow and ask them. I just don’t have many days between my pre op appointment and the surgery

What piercings do you have, and how new are they? And how long will the surgery be?

If there is a piercing you are particularly worried about changing, can you go back to the piercing shop where you got it done? A decent piercer should provide this kind of support.
