Burgandy theme - outfit help please

I have an event to go to in a couple of weeks time and to tie in with the rest of the family, I need to wear something burgundy/deep red. Daughter and husband have burgandy knitted jumpers (daughter with flared trousers, husband with chinos), other daughter is wearing a deep red knee length A-line dress. I need to look presentable but not overly dressed up.
I'm mid-40s. Size 14-16, large bust (but at least it gives me shape) and my stomach is my problem area, I need to hide it in some way. I don't live wearing heels, but will if absolutely necessary. I usually shop in John Lewis and Next. Please help with outfit ideas. I have seen a burgandy satin skirt in Next but conscious I need to hide my stomach. Alternatively I'm thinking black wide legged trousers with some kind of top. Please help! Thank you

Burgundy is everywhere! Is it a smart event? Are you after a whole outfit, or could you wear a top with trousers or jeans?

Can do a top with trousers or skirt with a different coloured top, or a dress. It isn't dressy. It's a smart-ish but still casual enough and comfortable dinner. I could def do a burgundy top but feel like it could be overkill with my husband and daughters so was thinking of breaking it up a bit. I'm really not sure

Thank you have ordered this, I am always weary of buttoned dresses due to bust size but the dress is lovely. We shall see!

What sort of event requires family uniforms..? Could you wear a black dress you already own and get a gorgeous burgundy leather bag?
