I added the Neils Yard Xmas bauble, as it’s worth it for the handcream alone, and I’m off skiing and then to Austria for 2 weeks so I know I’ll use it.
More importantly (although I’m also a bit annoyed): I had paid for the rejuvenate box with vouchers, and I remembered JL had sent me a e-gift card for the refund instead of putting it on account or back into vouchers, so I spent a while this morning searching my inbox.
Took ages to find it, because it comes from “vex” not JLP (in case any of you want to check the same). And in the process I found 5 gift vouchers, for varying amounts, issued since 2023. Sadly the 2023 one has expired (pretty damn sure I never used it), but at least one of the others worked, so the whole lot was basically free, in girl math terms. I know I should be pleased, but I feel like JL could add vouchers into the app, or make them much easier to find, so it feels a bit underhand to manage them like this.
Anyway, I’ll take the win! 4 boxes incoming, which will be fun to use while I’m away.
Also: 2 pairs of boots from the Steve Madden sale, and 2 more pairs from Daniel. I only need one but could probably see my way clear to keeping two if they’re really nice. I own more boots than anyone could ever want or need (over 30 pairs at last count…..), but I haven’t bought any new ones for a full year, and my most loved, and most worn, pair are definitely on the verge of moving to “dog walking”.
And a new pair of trainers from Adidas that I’ve had my eye on but have been out of stock in my size since they launched last month.
I definitely don’t need them, but trainers are exempt from shopping restrictions.
Good thing I’ve got to get to work. Although still on the lookout for a nice beauty gift for my DSis birthday to go with earrings and maybe the winter wonderland cosmic palette.
