I’ve just started a Skin 1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum. It was in either my LF monthly box or the Boots edit from a few weeks ago.

There is hint of itch and heat going on. I don’t think I’ll be continuing with this.

@pinkchampagne1 I had to stop using the lash serum, it was irritating my eyes. I don't think I actually need to use it anyway. I've been using the brow serum but I've not seen any difference yet. I unfortunately overplucked my eyebrows in the 2000s and mine don't seem to want to regrow. It's annoying, some of my friends majorly overplucked theirs a lot more than what I did, but seem to have been able to grow back nice eyebrows 😡

I've not tried the toner yet, I'm using a decree toner mist at the moment and then I have the dermalogica toner spray from last year's Harrods ac so it could be a while. I used the Decree cleanser a while ago, I really liked that, shame it's so expensive, not that I need to buy any cleansers right now anyway.

I don't know what I've done with the eyeshadow stick, I think I used it once with the one from the SpaceNk calendar and now I've no idea where either of them are 🤣 Probably find them in the pan drawer or something 🤣

I tried the blush drops last year from the 2024 calendar and I threw them away, I thought they just made my face look greasy.

I've started using the hair conditioner spray in the white bottle. I bought another one on vinted, but I don't really like the smell of it 🤣 I might resell it.

Apologies if this has been already discussed, but I’m tempted by the Cult Beauty Edit with the Kevin Aucoin eyelash curler - on a budget after a massive overindulgence pre Christmas but have had it in my basket for almost a week and can’t get it out of my head 😁

Does anyone have an active code I can try before I purchase?

@Back21970 I have a code applied to my basket with some other items, just added the edit and it hasn’t applied to that.

I do need some new eyelash curlers, were you interested in the Kevyn Aucoin ones for a particular reason?

@Back21970 I’d be tempted to wait - recent edits have been discounted after a few weeks.

None of the usual codes seem to be working but give it another week or so and they might or it will get discounted.

It's a gamble obvs because it might sell out in that time but a good number of these edits do hang about now until they get discounted.

Would you be really gutted if it sold out? If not it's probably worth waiting to see if you can get a discount.

@JoRaRaRa I think it was the La Prairie foam cleanser that caused my dry/red patch above my eye (I didn’t use it on my eyes but must have caught near it).

Despite getting my bonus extra La Mer face cream in my Harrods BAC, I haven’t tried it yet. I took one out to try it but was part way through another brand, and now I don’t know where I’ve put it 🙈😅

On another note, I’m loving the YSL blush! I hadn’t tried it before but I love the coverage, longevity and the glow 🥰 I’ll definitely be buying another shade at some point

@JoRaRaRa @Thelifeofawife I'm doing okay with the La Prairie cleanser despite having a dry skin type. I was wary after you reported it to be a bit drying. I don't use it in the AM though and not every night in the PM.

I generally have about 2-4 cleansers (not including oil/balm) on the go at one time and flit between what I fancy using. Sounds excessive but it works for me as I can get through quite a lot of cleanser. I can't apply this method to moisturiser which has been a bit of a misstep on my part as they don't reduce at the same rate.

@OvaHere I have a few cleansers on the go as well. If I wear a lot of make up I use micellar water then either cleansing balm or foaming cleanser. I find the kindest on my skin to be the Elemis cleansing balm.
I do have a ‘Then I met you’ balm from the SNK BAC to try, which looks very similar the Elemis

I need new lash curlers and the ones in the edit get really good reviews plus I use the Laura Mercier eyeshadow sticks.

I think it’s a cracking edit so I keep expecting it to sell out but if it did I suppose I’d find a few of the items on Vinted.

I’ve got my skincare sorted after years of trial and error, and loads of perfumes, so it’s generally the make-up edits that tempt me but I’m being very uncharacteristically restrained at the moment!

@Back21970 they sent me an email earlier in the week saying hurry these items you are interested in are nearly gone. Yet they're still here! It's better than average odds for them getting discounted but is tricky to judge at the same time.

Yes you’re right, those blush drops do make your face all shiny and greasy looking. That’s about all they do!

I have so much stuff in my stash that there’s still lots that I haven’t tried. My sister got the Space NK advent and said there wasn’t actually that much in the way of skin care so she has tried most of the skin care she got in her calendar but hasn’t got round to all the hair products. I am the opposite.

I also have so many different fragrances now! The only one out of the Harrods fragrance calendar that I sold was the Rude Oud as I found it too strong. I gave my husband the Nishane and he also uses Thameen quite a bit. I have kept the rest on my ‘non sharing’ part of the dressing table! 😁

Tempted by the Glamour box for £24 with the free nanobrow gift 🤔 I told my friend about it and she's bought so I'm currently just being a bad influence without buying myself 😇😅

@IlovePond If you are looking to top up your stash of the B12 cream, there are plenty on Vinted for £5/6. I made an offer which got accepted, so you could give it a try.

I haven’t actually tried it before, I had my eye on it when the BAC’s came out, but then didn’t go ahead with buying one as I had so many calendars/products to get through, but now they have come down in price it’s worth a chance

I didn't like it, quite sickly sweet.

@Thelifeofawife have you checked the alcohol cupboard? 🤣 The YSL blushers are gorgeous aren't they?! I'd really like the fuschia fizz one, I hope they still have it next month 🤞

@OvaHere I usually have quite a few cleansers on the go too. Currently I have an eve lom cleansing balm, no7 cleansing cream, the Naturium cleansing gelee and then the la prairie foam cleanser. I also have quite a few serums open. I tend to go off what I think my skin needs at that moment 😊

@pinkchampagne1 I really like rude oud, I do only use it very lightly though as it is strong and about 40 mins before going out. I didn't like Nishane and neither did my husband or mum so I sold that straight away. I like thameen, I wore that one this morning 🩵 I ordered another bottle of it as it was only £30 on vinted. I can't wait for warmer weather when I can get the Roja perfume out 🏝️

Thanks @Thelifeofawife - I have just had a look on Vinted but the sellers are all using EVRI, which puts me off. Plus, the last time I tried to buy something, Vinted was insisting on a landline number, (which isn’t an option for me), so I had to cancel the order 🙀 Fortunately, the seller was ok about it.

If there were any for that price on eBay, I would be snapping them up!

I am not sure the B12 is actually doing anything, but it feels quite nice.

Atm, I am using the B12 mask once a week, my EL night cream two or three times and alternating between my M&S Formula sleep oil and the ALDI sleep oil the rest of the time. My skin is looking and feeling ok so I will probably continue until one/all are used up and then move on to using the Medik8 night cream, which is waiting in the wings.

That was a good price for Thameen as it is around £200 for the 50ml bottle in Harrods. It is a really nice fragrance but my DH is a bit too fond of it for himself.
The Roja perfume is lovely but I agree that it seems more of a spring/summer fragrance.

It’s worth keeping your eye on Vinted, I originally swapped mine for another Valaya and then had FOMO.
After @JoRaRaRa said she picked one up for £30 I picked one up at a similar price point, think it was £31.

Valaya is my favourite PDM fragrance. I’m going to try and use my many different fragrances I acquired last year, try to avoid any future scent kits, meaning I can then splurge on a selection of PDM.
Or wait for the AC (too early?!!).

What's the b12 product mentioned above? If it's from the Liberty Advent i should have it somewhere 🙂
