I've stopped smoking for a couple of months and I've put on weight.
Has anyone used slimming patches I see advertised? I've seen a few brands but not sure about them.

Massive congratulations on packing in the cigarettes - no mean feat by any means.
I have no idea about the patches tbh, fairly sure I started putting on weight too when I stopped smoking.

Congratulations on stopping smoking.
Not any advice about patches, but what I did when the same happened was replace smoking with something rather than eating, as it's easier to snack to replace smoking 🤣
I got an adult colouring book and would sit and do 5 mins of that at a time instead. Even at work on my breaks I'd crack it out 🤣
Happy to say I haven't picked up a cigarette (or a colouring book other than my DDs) for a long time now and my weight is fairly stable 😍
Congratulations agaib, huge achievement. Stick with it

Well done on the smoking, and I hope you have long term success with beating it!

Please don't waste your money on the patches though.

Part of the reason exsmokers put on weight is that they often turn to nibbling stuff instead of smoking - it's the oral gratification aspect of smoking that they can still fill. Would it be feasible for you to try sugar free chewing gum? Or sip some water (treat yourself to your favourite brand of sparkling water, you can afford it with the money you're saving, and the bubbles will give you more "mouthfeel" than plain water). Or if you want something to do with your hands, try some small fidget toys.

With me its more about blowing the smoke out!! I will try the chewing gum thanks to all
