Blonde advice

Hi all, would appreciate some advice regarding hair colour please 🙂

I'm coming out of the hairdressers frustrated every time as I just don't seem to get what I want 😔 I'd say I'm around 50% grey now and my natural hair colour is perhaps a light brown. I get bleach highlights and a brown permanent colour applied in between on the grey with the odd bit dragged down a wee bit to break up the blonde, then toner.

I always ask my hairdresser not to make the blonde white/grey but this is always what ends up happening and it's horrible next to my pale skin 😔 I'm not sure how else I can explain things to her?

Do you think a lesser percentage bleach for the highlights would stop it coming up so white/grey? Would a root tap help? I don't really have a clue when it comes to this stuff.

The image attached is the kind of colour I would love - a nice neutral blonde which isn't too cool or too warm and is almost a pale yellow?

Thanks in advance 🙂

It's probably the toner.
Can you ask for a less ashy toner?

@Rattai she's using a 7.3 on it which I think is already gold? Thanks

I'm looking at that and that looks like quite a silvery blonde to me?

It's nice but to me anyway, it doesnt match with your description.

But then if you look at my hair I wouldn't blame you if you ignored what I say! 🤣

I agree that your picture shows a very cool blonde.

Oh really? Maybe I'm bad at seeing colours for what they are 🤔😂

With you saying "yellow" would any of these be a better picture?

I love the bronze creamy shade on the chart?

You could have high lift tint instead of bleach, that would be warmer.

My stylist told me high lift tint can't be used on grey or previously tinted hair, both of which I have :(
