Has anyone use Hair and Me for thinning hair. Did you get good results. How long did it take before you saw any improvement.

I am considering using Hair & Me, so bumping this thread.

The product's sound. I stopped using it because:

  • It's very runny and difficult to stop it trickling onto your face. I already have too much face hair, don't want to create extra on my forehead!
  • It made my hair darker where the product touched it.
  • It was going to work out expensive. The effect isn't permanent. I realised I'd be setting up a lifetime dependency.

If the money's no object, your hair's dark and you're patiently disciplined about regular treatment while avoiding trickles, go for it. The introductory offer's a bargain and it was easy to cancel the subscription.

I'm about week 6 or 7. Shedding has slowed down, so I'm hoping for regrowth soon:

Can I ask how scary is the shedding? I’m not sure I can afford to lose anymore hair.

what was it that made you start on minoxidil, I have serious meno hair thinning and daily shedding. It’s so depressing.

I've just started it this week. The liquid is very runny - I tip my head back so it doesn't run onto my face - and it's annoying to go to bed with a damp scalp and then have to wash my hair every morning. However, it will be worth it if it thickens my thinning hair.

Capsules are an option if you don't want to use the liquid.

This was the worst hair wash.

Bear in mind, if you stop, you'll go back to how you would have been if you had never taken it. So you can't take it for 5 years and expect to have delayed your hair loss by 5 years.

Let me know if you want my referral code.

How have you found it now it’s been a few months on since the start of this thread? How’s your experience with the liquid?

I’ve been using this for a year now and use the capsules. I take them before bed and have had no side effects so maybe that’s a better option? I started on 0.5 now I’m on 1.25 and I do notice a difference. I feel a lot more confident with my hair than I did this time last year. @Pinkstar28- what benefits have you noticed? I've been using Hair+Me for five months now and don't see any difference.

IHeartFridays · 18/07/2026 10:27

I started taking it 9 months ago after some horrific ( I’d say just over half of my hair) hair loss following keto. I can’t say whether the hair and me helped, or my hair loss just followed the natural cycle of stopping shedding and growing back but I’m too scared to stop it now. I do look ridiculous as half of my hair has grown back curly, half straight but at least it’s back. I take the tablets as have pets. No side effects and I’m on 1.25mg.

Used it for 3 months and noticed no difference. Champo serum seems to work well and daily collagen. Hair and me made me really dizzy as well.

Started getting a few baby hairs around the front of my hair, I noticed this first when drying my hair and gradually these got thicker and longer and in more places. It took a good few months I think, maybe 5/6 to fully notice. I also had some on the top of my head as well. I do believe you shed more at first before things start to grow. I have 100% noticed improvement
