Wedding outfit for a black tie do in Portugal in July

I am looking for a long dress that is cool to wear. Probably in a bright colour.

I am 5.7 and a size 8. Blond.

Any suggestions please?

Thank you. Wedding is in evening rather than day (well 4pm onwards) so wondering about more of an evening look. DH is wearing black tie. Budget can be upto £500.

Love that green dress though - just for the actual holiday as wedding is in portugal.

Colours I love. I am very pale and don't wear fake tan. Have very dark brown eyes. Green, red, orange, yellow. Although I am slim have a bit of arm anxiety. So if i had straps might want a bit of light cover. But not a granny grimble 'pashmina' wrap look.

Beautiful but you wouldn’t wear clingy silk in the heat? Well I couldn’t. It really shows sweat patches ( especially if you need arms).

I don’t really sweat. Am a bit of a snake. But not onto the sun at all so hard to imagine.

Love the colour!

I like the colour but I’m not sure it’s right for a summer wedding in Portugal. I’d imagine a zestier shade of yellow.

I also prefer a high neck if possible.
