Hi, i don't often post but in getting nowhere myself so hoping someone can help.

I've recently been prescribed an antibiotic and a cream (epiduo) for ache, I think they are starting to work but my skin on my face generally is becoming a bit sore and very dry (due to the cream).

I'm looking for a moisturizer that will help with those issues but not undo the work of the prescription cream. Had anyone been through similar and can offer suggestions?

Then going forward I'm looking for a tinted moisturizer or light makeup so I can keep my face fairly makeup free but still look 'done' and not end up with breakouts again.

I can't really go for any high end expensive brands either.

Any suggestions or am I clutching at straws here?

Just noticed the title error and don't know how to change it!

my prescription is for Tretinoin and an antibiotic (can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head, possibly Clindamycin?) for acne, I’ve found the best way to minimise drying/peeling is to apply the cream at night and cover it straight away with a good amount of thick Nivea cream (in the blue metal tin). Sounds counterintuitive as I’d never have put this on my face before but it really works for me.
Going forward, Erborian red correct CC cream is amazing for my skin, tones down the red bits and scars but doesn’t cause breakouts. It’s on the pricey side but a little really does go a long way.
