Tights

Hello!

I am looking to buy black tights for a new job. Can anyone recommend a brand that is long lasting and fits well for shorter people? I am 5ft1 on a good day, and around size 16.
I used to love Next's tights, but the last ones I bought (albeit the first ones in a long time), I spent half my evening my time pulling them up!

Snag - best tights ever

Absolutely snag. They are comfortable and they actually fit!

If you can’t cope with the Snag advertising tropes, M&S Autograph Velvet Luxe 60 deniers are as close as I’ve ever got to the holy grail of tights, Wolford Velvet Opaques, and about a quarter of the price.

Also 5’1”, medium fits me well

Better tights. I keep putting my toe through Snags but haven’t with Better.

Snag are too thin/fragile, go saggy and appear to be made for people around 6'7" tall - I could literally get them up to my armpits with the legs still wrinkled from excess length.

You could always double pant to stave off the dreaded crotch drop.

I couldn’t get on with Snag. Despite the same size, they all felt different sizes and they snagged! Heist were the worst for snagging, I got two wears out of them. Have gone back to M&S, which I find too wide in the toe, but at least they’re relatively cheap and don’t fall down.

Ive purchased Chub rub shorts from snag before, so will give their tights a go!

I have 40 denier M&S, are great

Sainsburys tights are pretty good too.
