Please recommend me some pants !!

I am not sure if it’s just me, but I don’t seem able to find any pants like the ones I used to have.

Basically, I don’t want “big” pants but I do want them to cover my bottom and stay there.

i used to have lots of cotton hipster style ones from Uniqlo and other places. But they don’t seem to exist anymore. They are all “cheeky” styles that don’t stay in place and ride up.

Any recommendations?

I like midi ones from asda. Coverage but not as big as a full brief

Stripe & Stare original knickers are brilliant, nice wide gusset too. I've spent years, and wasted a lot of money, searching for the perfect pants but I'm now replacing all my knickers with these.

Odd Balls knickers are great - I have quite a few of the “big” ones.

Stripe and Stare are designed “by women, for women”, but alas, they all seem to have lace on them.

All I can recommend is not ones that have been ‘tried on’ previously 🩲

Used to swear by M&S midis but they stopped those.
I tried George at Asda midis. Not too bad at all.
I'm now wearing Tu midis from Sainsbury's. Lovely cotton. Comfy and smooth and wash very well.
No one but me sees my pants so it really doesn't matter what they look like, but they do look OK.

I buy Wirarpa on Amazon too…. Basic, comfy, not “big pants “ but big enough.

They do but it's very soft and not scratchy. Just feels like cotton to me (when I touch with my fingers, can't feel the lace at all while wearing).

M&S still do what they used to call midi knickers but they are now called high rise shorts. 😀

Yes and they are good. The ones with lace waistband sit flatter than the ones which don’t have the waistband.

Sorry to highjack the thread OP but can I ask @GreaterCassowary what the sizes are like for Stripe and Stare. I'm a 14 in m&s knickers and don't know which size to choose on there

I'm a 14 and buy L from Stripe & Stare. It's like wearing air, but they stay up and look good. :)

@GandTtwice I would say they're true to size. I buy a 10 in M&S knickers and I wear a small in S&S, which fits with @DeQuin saying that a 14 is a large.

Step One bamboo pants are super comfy and fit brilliantly.,

I have lots of Fatface knickers, they are nice but the elastic goes so I’ve stopped buying them tbh.
I quite fancy stripe and stare too but wanted proper reviews so this is v handy.
