Does anyone use this? I’m being well and truly influenced! It looks great but is it really as good as it seems? I’m specifically being influenced to buy the Baked Starter Kit.

My friend bought and said it was complete scam - really poor quality. Avoid!

PortSalutPlease · 31/01/2026 21:24

Hated it, sorry!

FussyFancyDragon · 31/01/2026 21:25

I’m seeing a lot of ads for this on my IG too. I’m looking for something light that doesn’t make my skin look dry or settle into my fine lines, but I thought a powder would look cakey and so have always gone for liquid, so I’d be interested to know what people really think of it.

SeventeentoEleven · 31/01/2026 21:25

I find the powder doesn't give me the coverage I need, but I got the baked kit and I love the blusher. The eyeshadows are great and the only ones that don't irritate the dry skin on my eyes.

TricNorthCarolina · 31/01/2026 21:33

I tried some of my mums when she bought some. It was really cakey & made me look a lot older than I was. It showed up all fine lines which I couldn't see before! It was the complete opposite of what the ads promised it would be!

I only used it once & glad I did as I believed all the hype & was going to buy some so at least I saved myself some money.

My favourite make up product is the Erborian CC cream - now that is a game changer. Dewy, light coverage & makes my skin look so much better. If you want to try something new try this!

BlanketRose · 31/01/2026 21:34

This is the de-influencing I need! @TricNorthCarolinai have heard about Erborian so will give that a try!

I almost bought some when I'd had a tipple at Xmas, got as far as putting my email in for an extra discount before I decided to hold off. They bombarded me with emails, multiple times a day before I unsubscribed. That alone put me off tbh.

OverlyFragrant · 31/01/2026 21:37

I picked up a lipstick in tk maxx, its fantastic.

Glitchymn1 · 31/01/2026 21:42

There’s an ad going around and the lady looks worse after using it, she’s actually promoting it but it does her no favours. It reminds me of those no7 shimmer bronzer balls, if you have a spot/scar/pore/blemish it will ✨highlight ✨it for you and give it a lovely sheen 🙈

kitkat71 · 31/01/2026 21:43

I love it. I use the full coverage baked foundation, it covers my rosacea brilliantly, is so lightweight that you can barely feel and definitely hides the pores and fine lines. And it lasts all day, without needing to be touched up. I have fairly oily skin and the baked foundation suits it really well.

Silverstag · 31/01/2026 21:45

I really like it. Used to use full coverage foundation but felt it aged me once I hit 50. I now use the baked n brighten foundation and don’t find it cakey at all. Doesn’t sit in lines, just evens out my complexion.

SussexLass87 · 31/01/2026 22:08

Going against the grain but I just got some for Christmas and really like it!

My Mum got me the palette (link below) as a present and it's got a light, natural coverage that I really need. It's nice and quick to put on too (also comes with instructions, that, genuinely, I need in the morning rush!)

I have the brightening foundation, I like it but don’t love it.

I got a kit with a blush, lipstick, primer and foundation.

I will go back to my Bare Minerals when it’s finished.

TalulahJP · 31/01/2026 22:32

balance and brighten from qvc, 60 days to try. send back if you don’t like. all you lose is postage both ways. best way to try. ive returned many things no questions and no issues.

APurpleSquirrel · 31/01/2026 23:55

I’ve got the Baked Balance & Brighten foundation powder & really like. It’s very light, so might not work on skin with a lot of blemishes & marks, but works for me & helps to tone down my natural shininess. Also got a palette with eye shadows & blusher & like them. Got mine both direct & via Amazon.

DoubleShotEspresso · 01/02/2026 02:11

Have used the baked Balance & Brighten for years & wouldn’t use anything else, not even high end brands I have tried have come close.

I really like the buildable coverage, the fact it doesn’t sit in fine lines & just does “something”. Also lasts well throughout the day.

Eye palettes are good colour pay off with minimal fallout & more importantly don’t irritate sensitive skin or trouble my contact lenses.

Baked blushers last forever.

Mascara was okay but not wow. Not tried anything else.
