To go with those dresses…. for a long weekend away in the sun.
i am not buying any dresses as i can still fit in these ones but i need shoes!!! I would like something comfortable that i can wear all night, max ÂŁ150, that i will be able to wear agin. A small heel would be good. Im 48yo.

In the day time i will have different outfits and i can wear my black birkenstocks and my trusted and very comfy Gabor flats.

as I can still fit in these isn’t necessarily an unarguable reason for not buying new clothes …

@Rabbithill thanks - not sure about the colour but probably good style.
@Perfidianot sure what you mean - im just saying, as im not spending money on dresses i can buy shoes. If I was feeling insecure, i would think you were suggesting my dresses were not nice and i would need to buy new ones… that would be quite perfide…

So nasty and unnecessary.

If you’re buying new shoes they might not suit your current dresses. You don’t mention loving the dresses you’ve shown.

I don’t see where security / insecurity comes into it - no one is going to die because someone on an anonymous internet forum suggests that updated frocks might work better with new shoes.

Check out the last of the Esska sale.
I’m rubbish in heels, by feet always swell and the balls of my feet always get so painful, but the Esska shoes I bought to go with a wedding outfit are ridiculously comfortable. Worn all day, then dancing until the early hours, and no desire to burn the shoes afterwards!

Also came to suggest Esska

Everyone suggests this brand. Never heard of them. So I’ve just looked - lots of clunky heels and chunky shoes. Not for me at any stage of my life.

Office has a decent selection of mid heels (or lower). I’d look at low heeled Mary Janes (lots are Gucci copies). Or go for heeled ballet style. Both of these styles have life beyond a holiday - but if you like chunky shoes, go for them. Foot size matters!
