I saw a girl wearing a lovely long leopard print coat and she looked so cool. Shes a size 10 at most whereas im about a tall 16/18. Id love something furry and leopard print! But not sure how I could pull it off...

I have LP blouse, dress and shoes. I treat it as an accent, so only wear one of these at the time and keep the rest neutral.

I always remember a comedian saying that you shouldn’t wear animal print if you are bigger than the animal it came from😂. Hasn’t stopped me though!

WhosMadeline · 30/01/2026 22:34

With denim, brown, gold. With trainers.

I have a long button through dress, a tote bag (which the bonus of a zip top too), and a Mint Velvet cotton scarf.

The tote gets used the most and my coats tend to dark green / burgundy / navy so no clashing.
The scarf warms up an outfit and goes well with denim. Looks good with a black dress. And goes on sun holidays too.

I wear the dress with orange or brown sandals in the summer and black boots and long black cardigan in the winter.
Def goes with a warm palette.

I feel I have enough but it still catches my eye in the shops.

ps just remembered I have some tights from Next too, probably about 20 denier. I wear with a black denim skirt and trainers or ankle boots.

I think denim always looks good with leopard. If you had a long leopard print coat then a denim dress or jumpsuit underneath would look fab. Also burgundy looks good too, so maybe a burgundy co ord with leopard coat over.
I have leopard print jeans and like to wear a pink top or jumper with them as I think they just go really well together. I wear leopard print trainers with jeans or brown trousers or short denim dress and tights.
A lot of the people online who are dopamine dressers wear leopard print with other prints, which also looks cool. But obvs you need the confidence to pattern and colour clash.

I love leopard but Im 64 so have to be careful how I wear it. I have been known to go over the top and do a Bet Lynch but got my arse handed to me on here 😂I like wide leg leopard trousers with a chunky top.

marshmallowfluffster · 31/01/2026 10:42

I’m a tall size 18 and got some wide leg leopard trousers from next which are really nice, I wear them with a black top usually and trainers
or I have a black leopard very subtle top from Hush that I wear with jeans

I am drawn to leopard print, especially a muted one but cannot get rid of the Bet Lynch association.

I’ve got some leopard print jeans from next which I love. I wear them with a fluffy cream jumper and cream sambas or with a fitted black top.

henlake7 · 31/01/2026 13:12

Its easy to wear IMO, esp if you go with a neutral cream or black. Red also looks good with abit of leopard.
Even the more neutral patterns like checks , spots or stripes can look great.
I do have a fair bit of leopard print. 2 coats, several dresses, skirt, jeans, trousers, blouses, jumper, cardie, shoes, trainers, head wraps and scarves! (I may have a problem!LOL).
Safe to say I wear it with almost anything.😄

I have a pair of Mary Janes and that’s the extent of my leopard print.

In my opinion leopard is a neutral...

I have a big fluffy leopard print coat with a purple undertone. Had it a few years now and I consistently get stopped in the street/shops etc for compliments.

Go for it and get a coat!

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 31/01/2026 20:34

I love a bit of animal print with an all black outfit. So smart black jeans, comfy black jumper and a leopard print coat or boots. Or if it's a dress I would wear with black tights and boots, and a black or neutral coat.

toomanydicksonthedancefloor1 · 31/01/2026 20:35

Love those @IndieRocknRolli wear animal prints whether they are in fashion or not, I just love them. I am almost 50 and will continue wearing them.

Punkkatkitty · 31/01/2026 20:43

Have pretty much got a leopard print everything, numerous bags, shoes, boots, sunglasses, loads of coats/jackets, tops, skirts, trousers, jumpers/cardigans, socks and tights, scarves, gloves and hats, umbrellas, purses, makeup bags, cushions, blankets and bed clothes !

EdinaTheConfessor · 31/01/2026 21:12

I have a leopard print coat. Sort of a thigh length oversize one and I always get compliments on it. I wear with jeans and shorter dresses. The only thing it doesn’t go with really is long dresses.

I also have multiple dresses, jeggings, shoes, tops, jumpers and sports gear in leopard. I’m like a magpie to it. I wear it with black, cream and burgundy. Sometimes a bit of bright pink.

But never double leopard!

These. They do a skinny version not in leopard print though and they’re also comfy, stretchy and smart enough for work

I'm thinking of buying this from Next - Leopard Print Jersey Denim Wide Leg Trousers
