Bras that don't bulge

BananaWoman999 · 30/01/2026 19:17

Can anyone strongly recommend a bra, with some structure/padding for small boobs that doesn't cause masses of back flab/lumpy bits??

Really struggling to find something that looks good under fitted tops and I don't quite understand where I'm going wrong as I'm pretty flat chested and about a size 12 so I don't feel like this should be so hard!

Thanks in advance!!!

Op i suggest you get measured by a bra specialist if you have such a shop near you. Not M&S. They gave me the wrong measurements for many years and were actually 2 sizes out! I eventually got measured by a Rigby and Peller ex saleswoman and its made all the difference.

Are there any independent lingerie shops near you?
You need a professional bra fitting.

I am pretty flat chested, but after a professional fitting I now wear 32 D bras and look great.

Triumph bras. I'm not large chested but, after just trying on a range of sizes in John Lewis, I wear their bras in 36D. And they don't ride up move and fit.

Shapermint bras are amazing. You literally can't tell you have them on, streets ahead of everything else I have ever tried. Also I'm a size 34F and can wear their shapewear vests without a bra, and they still give lift.

I keep getting their adverts on my Facebook feed. I often wonder if all the comments are made up by the staff. So you really recommend them.

Honestly, the one I got is brilliant. I recommend no tumbler action though, because you want them to last. I hate bras but love this one. I also recommend their vests and long sleeved tops.

  • I am in no way affiliated with this brand 😆

Honey love bras are great, as long as you don’t want underwiring.

I feel like this is what I need to do. My chest is nowhere near the size of the bra I wear (in inches) but boobs are so small going up a cup size seems like madness. But it also seems like if I have back fat, going down in chest size will cause more bulging!

Thanks all for the recommendations! Will take a look (maybe after arranging a proper measurement)
