Blazer recommendations, please

Hi all,

I need a go-over-anything blazer to smart up at work (and maybe sometimes out of work). Something dark (possibly tweedy?), sharp tailoring. I wear a lot of shirts and merino jumpers and trousers. All my jackets feel a bit dated in style now.

I like the oversized look but I’m tall
and don’t want to look like a bloke (I tried my
husband’s suit jacket and the shoulders looked ridiculous).

Ideally less than £150. Anyone got one they love, please??

Arket wool blazers are my go to if you’re wanting to purchase easily online or from a shop. Vintage wool blazers from eBay or Vinted are my favourite. Always Mens for a more boxy oversized fit

I find Mango blazers to be quite good value for money and stylish enough. Is there a mango shop near you to try a few?

I bought two great Jaeger pure wool ones off Vinted for £20 each. Worth a look.

I love the Uniqlo knitted unisex blazers. They're 8o% wool that moulds to your shape. I wear them with knitwear & jeans/trousers. They're also on sale for £29 at the moment. I'm not tall at 5.ft 3 but they hang well & look casually chic. Attached is a picture of the grey & the brown.

I actually bought this one from Hobbs this week - it’s black and plain but very well tailored. It wouldn’t be the oversized look but I love it.
