Help! Going to Zanzibar in a week - recommendations for light long sleeved shirts and summer dresses??

Zanzibar is mosquito country so I'll need to wear long sleeves in the evening and Ive just realised Ive only got one long sleeved shirt!

I'd love any recommendations for light floaty shirts (and even a dress or two) - not too pricey, and definitely very light as it will be HOT!!

I love muted greens and oranges and aqua ... and am pretty versatile regarding colour.

5.7 and size 12.

I have a couple of Seasalt Larissa shirts that I wear at night in hot countries. They also can do double duty as a cover up if you start to burn . I can scrunchie them up in my bag and grab them when needed. They somehow don’t crease . Some of the patterns are a bit much but there’s always lots of options.

that sounds like a great choice @Vicliz24 ... lots I love on there....but how long are the sleeves??? they look 3/4 length but also rolled up... most annoying...

And how on earth did I forget seasalt - perfect price point for me, and yes, some gently interesting fabrics....

Mine are both long sleeved but yes have that button thingy on the sleeve too . I usually just roll mine up . But I’ve worn them everywhere so useful. Might be worth looking on Vinted or EBay .

I often lament that they don’t come in simple plain colours 😊

Have a great time, Zanzibar is fabulous.

I didn't wear long sleeves at night when I went and was fine. I did spray with Jungle Formula though.

THanks @CharlotteStreetW1 ... good to know! Yes taking LOTS of jungle formula and realise i dont really like wearing lots of long-sleeved shirts!! So will get some but also take my summer favourites

I think Primark might have lightweight long sleeves in, obviously not going to be 100% linen/cotton but fine. I lived in Tanzania and regularly went over to Zanzibar, the mosquitoes weren't too bad. I also took doxycycline as my antimalrialf (though admittedly not everyday for the 2 years).
i often wore Tshirts and ahorter sleeves however being so close to Ramadan (approx 15th Feb) longer sleeves are more appropriate.

Craghoppers have a range of UV resistant, mosi repelling travel clothing. Whatever shirt you get, get it loose.

Now in Zanzibar - yes, you're right @katscamel , lots of people wearing short sleeves and mozzies dont seem too bad....it'll be interesting to see how things change in Ramadan

And @Vicliz24 - I've bought 2 of the Larissa's and they're just perfect.... I'll look out for future fabrics: one of these I adore, its rapidly becoming a favourite
