Dry sore cuticles

I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

My hands aren't particularly dry but my God my cuticles for the past two years - especially on my thumbs have been awful - bad in summer and winter.

The skin thickens goes brown, cracks, peels off, gets caught on clothes it's so dry and cracks/splits. Horrid.

Tried
various hand creams
Nail/cuticle oils
Cuticle balms
Lip balms / sils thinking nice and thick
Face creams
Natural oils
Eczema products, nothing touches it

Don't have a hard work hands job and have a cleaner and wear gloves if I clean so aren't cleaning all the time.

Anyone tried anything magic or know what could be causing it.

Mine heal with lanoline.

Do you have a photo of them?

And do/did you used to get your nails done? Any chance it could be contact dermatitis?

It sounds like it might be helpful to see a dermatologist or dr. Otherwise the best cuticle oil I’ve used is OPI.
