What to wear to go clubbing/dancing in?

I'm going to see Annie Mac do her Before Midnight set in London. WTAF do I wear?! I'm 57yo and last went clubbing 25 years ago!

Obviously, I am going to wear trainers because I fully intend to dance the entire night but no clue about the rest of me! I had thought about a satin slip skirt and a tee but perhaps that's boring? Or not dressed up enough?

If it's the one in a month's time, I'm going too! I'm not much help beyond that though, since I'll likely have on a tshirt and cargo pants.

I am going with slouchy black faux leather trousers (v loose - almost cargo style without side pockets) and a black fitted t-shirt, with a pair of Asics (basically my running/workout trainers!). I've gone for comfort and ability to dance all night over any notion of dressing up! Enjoy your night next month!

Sounds about right. You’ll get hot in there so make sure the trousers are airy!
