Black ankle socks

Thrilling post of the day alert!

I'm sick to the back teeth of buying socks that are either hard and scratchy, don't stay up, or develop holes after a few wears.

I bought these yesterday, wore a pair this morning, and within 10 minutes they were crumpled under my feet. Perhaps I need to pay more but obviously don't want to splash out only to find they're no better. I don't wear wool. I would prefer bamboo or cotton, but accept synthetics might be better for stretch and durability.

Any recommendations please?

Uniqlo - unisex ribbed socks, 4 for £12. They are amazing

Sock shop bamboo ones - I got mine from Amazon and now I’m going to throw all my others away and replace the with these.

Seasalt bamboo socks are nice

I can warn you off M&S, they fall down. Edited to say, another look at the OP tells me you already know this! Mine were plain black though.
