Eyelash growth serums

My lashes are very short and daily eyelash curler use has damaged them. Parts are almost bald 🙁. Any recommendations for an eyelash growth serum that actually works? I’ve tried cheaper options but they don’t seem to make any difference. Thank you ☺️

Rapidlash has always worked for me.

NewYearNewMee · 25/01/2026 08:12

I use UKLash (the black tube) and it’s fab.

Sweetiedarling7 · 25/01/2026 08:14

A friend had good results with The Ordinary multi peptide lash serum. She used it on her sparse brows too.

I use Sweed and its the only one that's truly worked.

queenofwandss · 25/01/2026 08:17

i have tried several, the one I have had the best results with is uklash. They get really long and then seem to stop responding to it so I just have a break for a bit and then it works again.

SoScarletItWas · 25/01/2026 08:19

Sweed upset my eyes, sadly. I tried it as an alternative to Revitalash but I keep coming back to it. It really works.

I’ve never had any issues with serums that contain prostaglandins and I’ve been using Revitalash on and off since about 2016.

Uklash! I use the silver one for sensitive eyes and it is amazing.

Jayne05 · 25/01/2026 08:55

Thank you all so much for your help. Just got to choose one now, but good to know which actually do as they claim

Another recommendation for uk lash

Mumteedum · 25/01/2026 10:36

I'm sure someone on here said these cause issues in the skin around the eye? Is that not true then?

vitahelp · 25/01/2026 10:46

I used UKLash for about a year and it worked very well, however after a while I noticed reddish pigmentation on my lash line. I realised it was the serum. I stopped using it and the pigmentation has faded over time. If you use concealer on eyelid and/or eyeliner it might still be worth it though for the long lashes.

Badslipperluck · 25/01/2026 10:48

You need to decide if you're ok with prostaglandins or not. If you are, I hear uklash is amazing

intrepidpanda · 25/01/2026 11:05

How do they work? I see people saying they are good but cant get my head round how applying serum to your lashes makes them grow.

Purplecatshopaholic · 25/01/2026 11:09

I’ve started using Nanolash, as recommended by a friend. It’s not done anything yet - been a few weeks - anyone using that? What do you think?

UK Lash do one without prostaglandins. I use the one with and it’s fab and just buy it when it’s on sale.

I am told they affect the life cycle of the eyelash. If the life cycle of an eyelash is four weeks (for arguments sake. I don’t know) the serum stops it dropping out at four weeks so it has chance to grow longer and the eyelashes are thicker before the eyelash finally falls out maybe at 6-8 weeks.

SucksToBeYou · 25/01/2026 12:25

I wont use them as they can cause dark circle under the eyes. I would love thicker, longer lashes, but not with that potential trade off.

How does that work if it's going on your lashes, not your skin or in your system. Asking cause I have dark circles too.

I thought Revitalash was very good but currently using UKlash as quite a bit cheaper and there always seems to be offers.

I also had a lot of irritation with Sweed so had to chuck it out after a few weeks unfortunately.

Maggee · 25/01/2026 13:50

I had a particularly bad reaction to the UKLash one (red, itchy eyes and swollen eyelids. It was the prostaglandins) so I’ve never gone near any lash serum again. Would be interested in using one without prostaglandins.

Which Uklash product did you use? It might be worth trying the silver sensitive one - it doesn’t contain any prostaglandins.

I've also had good resukts with this but on my brows.
