Breastfeeding-friendly wedding guest dress

Going to a London registry office wedding in February, with a reception in a pub afterwards. I need a dress/ outfit I can breastfeed easily and discreetly in and am really struggling to find anything.

I’m 5ft9 and size 12-14. I like jewel colours (deep teal especially). I don’t want my arms on show, but would be happy with a shorter dress/skirt and black tights. Budget up to £150, maybe?

Some advice on shoes would also be good - I’m a bit clueless. I don’t want to wear high heels. Thank you!

Nobody’s Child have loads of great jewel-coloured, cross over/ruched top dresses that I found great for popping a boob out of when I was breastfeeding during wedding season. And you’ll have enough budget for some chunky heeled shoes to go with.

Sorry. Ignore the chunky heels part! How about some Alaia style ballet pumps?

Ooh I like the Alaia style pumps! Thank you. I feel like I haven’t gone anywhere smart and have lived in leggings and jumpers since lockdown, so feel very out of practice. I’ll check out Nobody’s Child.

Seraphine dresses are a good shout as they are designed for you to breastfeed in them.

I have this one in deep teal and in plum and I got them on Vinted.

I’ve found it in a 12.

I’m a 12-14 (more of a 14 tbh) and the ones I have are a 12, they’re great and very flattering.

Mock wrap but think it may work? Then a crop top vest underneath that you can do a one up one down feeding situation...

Vivaia are a good shout for super comfy flats too, I like a pointy toe for a dressy occasion, but they have lots of options!

This is lovely -
