I appreciate this is neither particularly stylish nor beautiful but I thought S&B folks might be able to help.
I will try and keep this short but it is very specific, so...
MIL has dementia and mild urinary incontinence. She is happy to wear tena pants or pads which are supplied on prescription for her. Her night time pants are no issue but she can't wear them in the day because she insists on wearing her bloody girdle and stockings, and the girdle is too long to wear under the tena pants as it gets wet. we can't put the girdle over the tena as you can't get them off without a total strip off.
We have therefore worked with the incontinence nurse and come up with a complicated but previously workable solution involving normal pants and a thick pad which gets tucked up under her girdle and then her pants on top. But this really isn't working any more.
I have suggested we try her with a different girdle which is shorter and could therefore be worn under the pull up pants (so basically a wide suspender rather than a pull on girdle) which would solve a lot of the issues IF she will wear it.
She has worn the same type of girdle from the same shop for 60 years. The closest I can find as an example is this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/376795752122
Note the colour (somewhere between beige and pink) and the straight bottom. Where this differs is that hers don't have the lace panel and they have six suspenders.
On her this comes to just below her bottom/pubic area.

have six straps, preferably with plastic hooks but I can probably swap them
come in size 8 or possibly 10
WOULD PREFER
that pinky colour -white or flesh may work, black or other colours are not going to
as straight a base line as possible
no mix of fabrics, an overlaid lace panel may be OK but not lace or mesh as the body
be cheap (I don't mind paying if she will wear it but she may just point blank refuse and to try we will have to cut the labels out so £15 is much better than £50!)
I will try and go into THE shop when I'm next there but I don't think they even sell the ones she does have any more, that won't be for 6 weeks and if I can find a solution in the meantime that would be great. I have also considered altering the existing ones but that would basically mean a full remake to shorten, reshape the side seam and also find longer clip straps, and if she then refuses it we are a girdle down!
And no she will not wear tights. Or trousers generally. We don't want to force her to forego the things which are important to her still, just reduce the amount of toilet trauma if we can!
Not your normal request I appreciate, but anyone have any ideas?
