Very dull question but where do you get your socks from? I seem to have shrunk all of mine!

Sock shop. We normally buy their advent Calendar each year. Keeps us going. We reckon they last about two years that’s 48 pairs between two of us.

Goodwitch9 · 23/01/2026 17:31

Great idea as their advent calendars are on sale right now but they’re a bit too Christmassy for me! Looking for plain navy/charcoal/black/grey.

Expensive but last, Falke. Often on sale.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 23/01/2026 17:35

Seasalt do good ones.

shuffleofftobuffalo · 23/01/2026 17:40

My favourite socks come from primark. I also like seasalt for the quality.

ProfessorInkling · 23/01/2026 17:41

Falke, cotton touch. Worth the money, sometimes I go elsewhere but I come back to them again and again. Wool boot socks when it’s extra cold.

selondon28 · 23/01/2026 17:44

Thought do really nice ones, worth the money as they last

wait how are your socks only lasting two years??? i've still got socks from 10 years ago that are near perfect

willowstar · 23/01/2026 17:47

I buy mine from Pairs Scotland

Occasionalcyclist · 23/01/2026 17:47

I buy mine from Sainsbury's, they have black socks in a pack of 3 called "Ultimate Comfort Socks" with soft padding on the sole. They are so comfortable and last well. Possibly a bit warm in summer but perfect for other seasons

Good question!! We’re in our feet all day everyday so probably just wear and tear!

love falke too but husband loves colour and we share. I do always and only buy flake tights though

pandora206 · 23/01/2026 17:55

Bam - really soft bamboo socks that wash well.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 23/01/2026 17:57

Erm, Primark. They don’t have a tight top on the e crew socks and I’ve never had to replace.

CookingFatCat · 23/01/2026 17:59

I buy men’s from m&s as they go higher up
my leg.

Sprig1 · 23/01/2026 18:02

Sainsbury's.

familyissues12345 · 23/01/2026 18:03

I struggle with socks, not keen on full length crew socks and find trainer socks fall off as I’m size 7 and they’re never quite big enough! So I look for quarter socks, Primark used to be good bought they don’t seem to do so many choices now (I like fun/patterned socks!)

I’ve also got some from Oliver Bonas which are nice

muddyford · 23/01/2026 18:04

Marks and Spencer. I get men's ones as they are better quality.

These are my absolute favourites too.

Alongthetowpath · 23/01/2026 19:01

I get men’s socks too, much better quality. I prefer bamboo rather than cotton for softness.
My favourite brands are Pringle and Seasalt.

Foggytree · 23/01/2026 19:07

Mine are from fatface mainly. Bought for me .

They last ages.

KnickerlessParsons · 23/01/2026 19:08

I buy men’s’ socks - far more comfortable.

Tcateh · 23/01/2026 19:09

Penguin when I can get them. Tkmax always had them, I've still got some from about ten years ago

MummyInTheNecropolis · 23/01/2026 19:20

I got some merino wool socks from mountain warehouse to go hiking in after they were recommended on here, but they’re so warm and comfy I bought more and wear them every day.

aibutohavethisusername · 23/01/2026 21:37

Seasalt
fatface

TigerRag · 23/01/2026 21:38

Tesco ones aren't too bad

(I only stopped buying them because I needed something a bit warmer!)
