Handbag dilemma

Gettingbysomehow · 23/01/2026 15:48

Has anyone got any ideas for a trendy but affordable handbag.
I am completely out of the handbag look and would like something with double handles and a detachable shoulder strap.
Birkin shaped but obviously not birkin because I am not a millionaire.
Something that would look ok both with jeans or a smart dress. I mostly dress casually.

What sort of budget?

Gettingbysomehow · 23/01/2026 21:31

Id say about £250.

I’ve got the M & S Autograph brown real suede one that was £100 but went to £30 in the sale, so it might be worth looking there? It’s a great bag, loads of pockets inside, double handle, long detachable strap

Look at Paul Costello online . Usually really good sale discounts. My current leather one is wearing well

That's lovely too and a good price.
