TK Maxx Yellow stickers

My local TKs has had a massive chuck of the store yellow stickered since mid December, there’s loads of stock still left in the store all getting mauled and trashed because it’s on clearance but no further stickers with exceptions for I think clothes and shoes. Is anyone else’s store like this? Obviously they’re trying a new reductions tactic probably in the hope the yellow stickers would prompt shoppers to buy but the level of discount is nowhere near as good as previous years.

I noticed this too. Usually by the time they get to yellow stickers they’re a fraction of the original cost. I was disappointed to see very minimal discounts this year.

i usually get fantastic bargains like a ski helmet for £1!! Not to be this year.

We are the opposite so I wonder if they have concentrated all the yellow sticker stock to a few sores. First day they reopened in January the shop, especially the Homesense half, was immaculate, masses of new stock in spring colours, small amount of yellow stickers to the back.

I can’t shop in there as it makes me hyperventilate, ours is like a jumble sale, it’s absolutely minging.

I’ve never seen yellow stickers in ours? Is it a new thing?

No. Yellow stickers have been around for as long as I can remember in tkmaxx

I worked in TKMaxx many years ago. We reduced all the sale stock down to 20p once just to get rid of it.
Sale stickers were red though. Not yellow!

Edited because my brain said red and my fingers typed white!

Same - they're red in my local ones!

The stickers are red for the early sale and then they use yellow ones when they reduce the prices massively. Or at least they used to.

I bypass it by taking a trolley and stripping off - so Im I'n tee -shirt , and I work my way through

Hi, I was thinking the same!! I just signed up just to reply to your comment!! I was looking to the web for answers as I am so confused 🥺
I was so prepared for the usual routine - yellow tickets after Xmas, further discounted each week by 30%, then around this time the final final clearance week would start when they would go down every day!!
What is going on?! It's thrown my whole January routine off!! Or, as I shall call it going forward, my "TK chi" 😻😹
It's the same all around Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield.. we even went close to Manchester and Rugby 🙈😹😹

Just as a woman of a certain age, I find shops like saunas , so whilst I need a heavy coat and a jumper outside, inside off they come and I shop in a tee shirt ( already an underlay - no undue flesh is exposed on the "strip "

And whilst I do have a bike, that ride is not one I will be on :)
