Does anyone who is going grey have babylights, and no base tint? I am thinking about this as a move from single process towards eventual grey (but not yet!)
My natural colour is sandy brown, now at least 50% grey, and my hair is shoulder length with layering. I’ve been using a slightly lighter demi-permanent tint at home, but it needs touching up every 2-3 weeks.
Past highlights and balayage have left a grey stripe after a month or so in spite of promises to the contrary. Would babylights leave less of a stripe? FWIW, this stylist has been good.
I’d especially appreciate photos, or any reasons why this would be a bad idea. TIA
