I had a look around what’s left of our local high street last week (didn’t take long) and spotted:
Waists back on the scene: hourglass shaped jackets - some of them collarless, shirts with tabs at the waist, knitwear and jersey tops with peplums.
Jeans still in all shapes but wide legs and flares pulling away from the rest. Also quite a few straight legs around, although they too were quite wide.
Round neck cardigans - there may have been style details but I didn’t notice.
A specific shade of pink, like a rose pink.
I’ve also read about, but didn’t see much evidence of:
unusual colour combinations
knee length skirts, especially pencil skirts
Editing cos I forgot to answer your question.
I enjoy fashion. That doesn’t mean I follow everything (I actually wear a lot of vintage) but, if I like a trend, I wear it and I can normally find something I do like. As a previous poster says, if you shop on the high street you’re following some trends whether you intend to or not.
