Upper Eyelid Surgery - anyone had it?

My upper eyelids are so droopy now they are resting on my lashes. My eyes were my main beauty all my life, and now they are practically buried in these upper lids. A friend had the surgery, said it was horrendous, and the result only lasted a year and then her lids were drooping again. I just wondered if there were any success stories out there. I am tempted, then get cold feet.

I am seeing Mr Will Anderson in March through Cosmedicare in Glasgow for a consultation for this procedure. (He works at a few different clinics).
He has been recommended on the forum I mentioned previously.

My mum had it and was absolutely thrilled with the result.
