Fitflops - how is the sizing?

Lottapianos · 19/01/2026 18:14

I'm interested in some slides / slippers from Fitflop but how is the sizing? I'm a pretty consistent 5 in shoes but usually take 3-4 in flip-flops

Also, any recommendations for styles to deal with plantar fasciitis, to wear as indoor shoes / slippers

Thanks

Tend to find them small but it depends on the type of sole.

Deeandwizzy · 19/01/2026 18:19

I’m a 4/4.5 usually but take a 6 in these.

I was toying with buying some but couldn't bear to spend that much on slippers. Instead I bought some on amazon by a brand called ergofoot. They aren't as attractive as the fitflop ones but fine for pottering round the house.

My planter faciaitis has been much happier since. They were about £30.

olympicsrock · 19/01/2026 18:24

Standard sizing . I have bought quite a few pairs.

Arcticsway · 19/01/2026 18:25

I'm a 5 and I take in a 5 in Fitflops including their slides and flipflops.

FinallyMovingHouse · 19/01/2026 18:27

7 normally and 7 in a fitflop

Blingismything · 19/01/2026 18:46

5 and 5 in Fitflop.

greatbigpot · 19/01/2026 18:59

I am a size 7 in every style of FitFlop. They are very consistent.

I buy a 6 in clarkes boots and asics trainers and I have just bought a 6 in fitflop trainers and they are perfect, I love them. I bought a pair of fitflop Chelsea boots in size 6 a few months ago, also a great fit, they are the only boots I have that I can wear all day. I have planter faciaitis and fallen arches and they are so comfy I dont think I will ever wear anything else. I wear crocs as slippers and I think i will give the fitflop crocs a go, i cant wear normal slippers or go barefoot any more sadly.

Vicliz24 · 19/01/2026 19:10

I’m a standard 61/2 and I take a 6 in the sandals but 61/2 in the boots .

Deadringer · 19/01/2026 19:12

Has anyone bought from the fitflop store on Amazon, is it legit?

ConstantlyFuriosa · 19/01/2026 19:17

6 in shoes 6 in fitflop slides, flip flops and boots. They do a flip flop called iqushion that’s quite good. Actually I find all of their flip flops and boots very comfortable but do also have a pair of basic slides from them which are a bit less so. But then I have a bunion so a slide isn’t the best option for me really.

MalewhoisLaffinalltheway · 19/01/2026 19:44

Male here. I take a 12 and find fit flops are pretty true to size.
I have flat feet and find both my fit flop sliders and flip flops are the most comfortable thing I can wear. I even take them with me when visiting so I can put them on in other peoples houses. They really do make a difference.

BlackGrape · 19/01/2026 19:45

I'm a UK 5 and wear a 5 in Fitflop fitflops. I also have their shoes and use a 5 in them too

BlackGrape · 19/01/2026 19:48

I use their Shuv model clogs as indoor slippers.

AnAudacityofinlaws · 19/01/2026 19:56

They’re very voluminous. If you have slim feet you won’t get them to fit. I’ve tried to buy them several times but have had to send them back every time. More flop than fit tbh.

Idontjetwashthefucker · 19/01/2026 20:01

I'm a 4 and have around 6 different styles of Fitflops...all 4

BirdOnTheBeach · 19/01/2026 20:07

I‘m a 6 and have 6 in Fitflops for all styles (and I have many - sandals, loafers, trainers, flipflops, wellies, knee high boots, walking boots) except for boots where I wear thick socks so I have 6.5 for those.
They’ve all but eradicated my plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis.

To offer another opinion, I have slim feet and have had no issues with any of the styles not fitting properly

Thanks SO MUCH everyone! They sound like exactly what I need 👍

I size up from Birkenstocks, which are also great for PF. I find Fitflops a bit snug over the top of my foot but I do have a high instep.

DinoLil · 20/01/2026 13:53

I'm a 7, had loads of different styles over the years, all a 7, all fitted fine.
