I'm in the market for a new dressing gown. Any recommendations? I dont have a specific budget in mind, just want something really lovely to replace my current one (John Lewis) which has seen better days. Thanks!

A white, mid-length waffle one (also M&S) and two OHSs lightweight ones for wearing in the summer or taking on holiday. Both purchased in the sale at a bargain price.

British Boxer gowns are long. I'm 5'4"" and have tu be careful not to trip over the hem of mine.

I bought a lovely one from Lands End a few years ago. Very good quality. They are on sale at the moment.

Also their PJs are the best - incredibly comfortable and virtually indestructible. Probably also on sale.

I have this one. They do this style in a pink and white stripe as well and I bought that one for my mum. They are lovely and soft and quite thick as well. I do think mine shrank slightly the first time I washed it though, so bear that in mind.

I have two wool Brora ones, a Liberty silk one and a cashmere one which is Boden. I’ve worn the Boden one every winter for about 15 years, it’s 100% cashmere and I think it cost me the astronomical cost of £70 brand new from EBay. Cost per wear an utter bargain. Not one hole and every time I wash it (about 4 times 😬) it comes up like new

Another one for British Boxers, lovely snug brushed cotton keeps me toasty and it’s a decent length. I’m not a fan of fleece due to the environmental impact and it would make me look like a sack of spuds.

I love my plain long dark grey cashmere one from white company.

I can't stand those soft fleecy polyester robes (sweaty!), but 100% cotton is surprisingly hard to find in the shops.

I can highly recommend The Towel Shop online... I think they mainly supply hotels etc, but they do ridiculously cheap and lovely cotton towelling bathrobes. We've all got one now.

I’ve got an imitation oodle!
it’s so warm n cosy with a full zip and hood!
I very rarely ware it though as I usually have a shower and jump straight into bed.
