Halara jeans

Hi I’m looking for a pair of wide leg jeans but generally find jeans so uncomfortable being chunky of thigh ! Is it worth giving Halara jeans a go or is it all hype ? I’m between 10-12 and 5’6 would a small or medium be better ? How are they length wise is it better to buy long and be them taken up as I hate when jeans are not quite long enough I would only wear them with trainers . Thank you

I bought some wide legged jeans from Halara last month and I love them. They're definitely not all hype, they're as comfy as joggers or gym pants but look just like jeans. I got so fed up with jeans digging into my flesh and being uncomfortable that I'd not worn them for ages. I got sick of wearing leggings though. I'm 5ft 5in and the length is perfect, I think another inch in height would be okay though tbh. I'm size 10-12 and right between sizes, small and medium are both fine on me

I really like mine. Soft as joggers. I am now too small for mine - got an xl as a pear shaped 18 and now am a 12/14 and would get a m I think.

i got a short length and am 5 ft 3. They are ok length wise but only just so I’d say regular length for anyone taller. I only wear with trainers too.

the only thing I would say that is putting me off getting another pair is that there are no belt loops and I don’t like wearing tucked in things with them. I need to tuck in with wide legged stuff really or else it swamps me as I have the body length of a garden gnome. So I find them good for relaxed days but not days where i want to look a bit sharper iyswim. Tu do a pair that feel as soft but have a button waist that I think I may prefer (always sold out in my size sadly).

i would say look on vinted though - loads on there.

I have numerous Halara jeans, trousers etc. Love them.

GameOfJones · 17/01/2026 17:27

You're exactly the same height and size as me, I'm a 10-12 and am 5'6. I love my Halara jeans and wear a size Medium.

Now the length thing is tricky as I bought regular as it says longer length is for 5'7 and above but I think they are ever so slightly too short. But it depends on the shoes I wear....with sandals in summer they're perfect, I tend to find they look a touch short if I wear a chunkier trainer with them. I'm planning on looking on Vinted for some long length ones to try but they could easily end up being too long.

Don't risk it! They are nigh on impossible to return if they don't fit or suit you.

Chickenlicken15 · 18/01/2026 13:58

Thanks now I’m not sure what to do !

I’ve been tempted to try their jeans but heard a couple of people mention the difficulty in returning them and this puts me off. What exactly is the issue??

DelphiniumBlue · 18/01/2026 14:52

Returns are difficult in that you'd possibly ( but not always`) have to pay for postage to China or somewhere. Halara has on one occasion, told me to keep the garment I wanted to return and sent me a voucher which covered the price.
However, that was after I had already bought several items from them, I'm not sure that always they always do this.
That said, I found their customer service good when it came to advising re sizing. Their measurements do seem accurate, so get out your tape measure!
The wide leg jeans are fab, very flattering.

Washinglinewench29 · 18/01/2026 15:08

When I bought mine if you downloaded the app some of the jeans you could get for £15.99

myladyjane · 18/01/2026 17:34

Honestly I’d try vinted. So many people resell them because it’s tricky to return them and you could do the same. I got a pair of halara cords with tags for a little (not loads) under retail price. Didn’t fit that well. Resold for what I paid.

thornbury · 18/01/2026 18:29

Im 5ft 4 10-12, I bought medium but could have got small (I was concerned about getting them over my hips as there's no fastening). I find the regular length slightly too long, but wearable.

TomMorrow · 18/01/2026 18:36

I bought my first pair on Vinted and found that a regular length medium fits perfectly for me at a size 10/12 and 5’6. I’ve since bought a few pairs of jeans and leggings straight from Halara and I’ve been really impressed.

Chickenlicken15 · 18/01/2026 18:40

Hi thank everyone such a mixed response - has anyone tried the wide leg ones ? I prefer wide leg but not to wide . What is the delivery time like? Will have a look at vinted too

Thanks now I’m not sure what to do !

Get some from M and S ,they have similar and easier to return. Too many bad reviews about Halara for me to order from them.

TeaRoseTallulah · 18/01/2026 23:05

Look on Trust pilot before ordering.

WaitingForMojo · 18/01/2026 23:22

I bought some for my autistic dd who was desperate to wear jeans but couldn’t tolerate for sensory reasons, she loves them. I bought regular length as I bought them on Vinted and couldn’t find short ones. Thought they’d be too long but they are not, so I think they probably come up short.

scotlands · 18/01/2026 23:25

I ordered Halara jeans between Christmas and new year and im
still waiting their arrival. It’s taken forever
