Slip for yellow Ghost dress

This dress is a bit see through - does anyone have any suggestions for what type of slip to wear underneath and what colour would work best? it’s a slightly stronger yellow that these photos. Tbh I’ve never purchased a slip!

M&S do a great range of nude slips and body shapers (not saying you need the latter, but they are really handy to wear underneath things that aren’t lined or are lighter colours as they very often seamless). I’d take the dress along to M&S and trial out a few options underneath.

Yes, nude is definitely the way to go and M&S are great for this sort of thing.

That’s a good idea - hadn’t considered shape wear it’s a definitely good idea! Last time I wore that kind of thing was probably fifteen years ago and was incredibly uncomfortable - I’ve hoped they’ve improved!

They definitely have, they range from a ‘light touch’ version to ‘suck it all in Martha’! Lovely dress, hope you enjoy wearing it.

It depends on your own skin colour. I read somewhere that a bright, magenta bra can blend it with white skin and not be seen under a white blouse- which seemed completely new to me!
