autumngirl714 · 16/01/2026 08:46

I have dry and sensitive skin and I’m mid thirties so there are wrinkles 🙈.
im after a full coverage foundation but own that lasts all day and isn’t claggy!
I normally use Charlotte tilbury flawless but I can’t find it on offer atm and I don’t want to spend £40!
any recommendations?
I’ve used mac in the past which I liked but felt it was a bit patchy by the end of the day!

I panic bought a rimmel bb cream in a emergency last month and I’d say it’s medium coverage but surprisingly not drying (I have very very dry flakey skin). It’s was only £6.99 on Amazon so might be worth a try until you can find a new Charlotte Tilbury discount code!!
I used to use MAC Studio Sculpt but they’ve discontinued it 😫

Depending on just how dry your skin is, a good shortcut / hack that I often use is to mix in a drop or two of BioOil or other facial oil into my foundation....not too much, literally a drop. It gives a lovely glow to the finish. I suspect it wouldnt work with a very matte finish or super longwear type formulation, but its a trick that does work for me.

Clinique. I have used their 'Redness Solutions' for decades. My skin is very sensitive.

I’ve just started using Laura Geller, I’m really pleased with all the products so far.

I have dry dehydrated skin and almost gave up!!!

Then I found SHISEIDO Revitalessence Skin Glow Foundation .

I do need to use a powder so it's not to glowy but I love it!!!!! Even after all day where the moisture hasn't been sucked out.

I have received lots of compliments since I started wearing it.

Elf halo glow is supposed to be a dupe for CT flawless filter. I didn't like the Elf as it was too much coverage for me (I prefer skin tint if wearing makeup) but that might work for you.
